Love the Sacred Heart with a pure, faithful, and persevering love that seeks Him above all things.
Today we are invited to examine the quality of our love for the Sacred Heart. Jesus makes it clear that authentic love is not superficial or partial—it is total, pure, and persevering . Love for His Heart must be without mixture, meaning it cannot be divided between God and the world. It must be freely given, not forced or conditional. It must be selfless, seeking not the gifts of God, but God Himself. And it must be faithful, remaining constant even in difficulty, dryness, or trial. This reflection challenges us to move beyond emotional or convenient love and enter into a deeper, more intentional relationship with Christ. Many seek consolation, blessings, or spiritual experiences, but few seek God for who He is. The Sacred Heart calls us to a love that is rooted in commitment, not feeling—a love that endures even when it is difficult. This is the love that leads to holiness. Perseverance becomes central. The journey of consecration is not a moment, but a path—a daily decision to remain faithful. There will be obstacles, distractions, and temptations, but the call is to continue forward, keeping our gaze fixed on Christ. In doing so, we discover that His love sustains us. He is not asking for perfection from the beginning, but for fidelity along the way. Today is an invitation to deepen our love—to purify it, strengthen it, and anchor it in Christ alone. When our love becomes pure, free, and faithful, our lives begin to change. We are no longer driven by the world, but by the Heart of Jesus. And in that transformation, we begin to live a life that is truly Set Apart for Him.
