The Church is holy—yet wounded by scandal, division, and spiritual confusion. Joseph is protector because God appoints him as guardian of Christ’s Body, just as he guarded Christ’s physical Body. To love Joseph is to love the Church with realism and hope. Today calls you to intercede for the Church: for the Pope, bishops, priests, deacons, religious, and laity. Pray for purification, courage, unity, and fidelity to the Gospel. Joseph teaches us not to abandon the Church when she suffers, but to protect her through prayer, holiness, and truthful charity. Ask: How do I respond to the Church’s struggles? With cynicism, anger, gossip? Or with prayer, sacrifice, and constructive love? Joseph’s protection is not naïve. He faced danger directly, yet remained faithful. Today, offer one act for the Church: a rosary, a fast, Eucharistic adoration, a kind word to a priest, or service in your parish. Then ask Joseph to help you become part of the remedy—not part of the noise. The Church will endure because Christ is faithful. Joseph helps us remain faithful too.
