This title is startling—and deeply consoling. Joseph is “terror of demons” because his purity, humility, and authority under God shatter the enemy’s schemes. Demons feed on pride and impurity; Joseph’s virtues are a spiritual weapon. Today reminds you that spiritual warfare is real, but you are not alone. Joseph teaches how to resist evil without obsession: stay close to Jesus, remain in grace, pray simply and consistently, and live chastely. The devil hates Joseph because Joseph guarded the Redeemer and protected the Virgin—two realities the enemy cannot endure. Ask: Where am I vulnerable? Hidden sins, resentment, occult curiosities, addictive habits, despairing thoughts, spiritual laziness. Don’t negotiate with darkness—renounce it. Joseph strengthens decisive hearts. Today, make a clear act of renunciation: “In the name of Jesus, I reject sin and every lie.” Then choose concrete protection: confession, Eucharist, Scripture, fasting, or removing what feeds temptation. Also pray for men to become Joseph-like: humble leaders who protect rather than exploit. The world needs holy strength.
