Mary’s Role in Our Sanctification
St. Louis de Montfort reminds us that God chose Mary as the most perfect means to unite us with Jesus. Just as the Holy Spirit formed Christ in her womb, He desires to form Christ within us through her maternal care. Mary is the “mold of God” — when we allow ourselves to be placed in her hands, she shapes us gently into the likeness of her Son.
Our consecration is not about replacing Jesus with Mary but allowing her to help us become like Him. She purifies our hearts, perfects our intentions, and fills us with grace. The more we entrust ourselves to her, the more freely the Holy Spirit can work in us.
Through her maternal intercession, we are drawn deeper into holiness, humility, and peace. As we walk this journey, let us open our hearts and invite Mary to form in us the image of her beloved Son.
